Its Hanoi Bun Cha was simply delightful!

It has been quite some time since Puri and I had some Vietnamese food. So we’ve decided to try out this Vietnamese food chain, An Viet.

What We’ve Ordered

It has been quite some time since Puri and I had some Vietnamese food. So we’ve decided to try out this Vietnamese food chain, An Viet.

We looked through their menu, and was pretty impressed with the dishes that was served. Hanoi Bun Cha definitely caught our attention, as we really missed our Hanoi trip and that was where we first tried Bun Cha and fell in love it ever since.

We also ordered a Vietnamese Baguette, Bahn Mi, along with some fried spring rolls. For drinks, we ordered a jug of Lemongrass Ginger drink.

Lemongrass Ginger (Jug) – RM 12.90

The Lemongrass ginger drink was the first to be served. I would say it has a good balance of Lemongrass and ginger, and has a good amount of spiciness from the ginger. It was served in a jug that comes with two cute tiny glass. The jug doesn’t look like much, but it is quite a lot for both of us.

Hanoi Bun Cha (Set) + added Fried Spring Roll – RM 27.80

Bun Cha is one of Hanoi’s specialties. It is a traditional Vietnamese pork dish served with rice vermicelli noodles.

The highlight is definitely the pork patties and bacon that was served in the broth. The noodles was perfectly cooked, you can customize your noodle portion as well. The set came with a bowl of lala soup, spring roll, and fried dumplings.

Definitely one of our favourite dish from An Viet.

Banh Mi – Pork Chop – RM 14.90

An Viet

The Banh Mi was decently good. The baguette is nice and crispy while soft in the inside. A little lacking in flavour, I would prefer to have more cilantro. Can’t be compared to the ones we had in Hanoi, but it’s still a good Banh Mi.

Conclusion

Nice ambiance with nice decorations and a comfortable dining experience. Serving time was decent. The waiters were friendly. Total bill came up to RM73.65 for two, including service charge of 10% and SST 6%.
