The Sheep Sanctuary lets you mingle around with cute fluffy sheep! You even get to hand feed them yourself!
Kea Farm
It started on a very cold morning in Cameron Highlands where Puri and I decided to visit the Kea Farm morning market.
A very busy morning in the Kea Market.
Our Experience at The Sheep Sanctuary
After visiting the local market at Kea Farm, we stumbled upon one very interesting signage next to the market, which states “The Sheep Sanctuary”. That alone is enough to intrigue both Puri and especially myself.
The entrance fee is RM6 for adults and RM4 for children at the time of our visit back in 2020. Since it doesn’t burn our pockets, we’ve decided to check out this place.
Right at the entrance, we could already hear bleating sounds of the sheeps.
Yup, they were really close to the entrance. Hopefully, they were not planning for an escape.
The sheep were already demanding for food from the very beginning.
We were impressed with the place, it was well-kept and clean. The sheep were allowed to wander around the area freely rather than being in a shed. Do be mindful that the place is a hill slope, so do be careful with your steps.
The area is a sloppy hill where the sheep roam.
These sheeps will not leave you alone until you finish your sheep feeds! Luckily these fluff balls are surprisingly gentle!
You get to pet the sheeps and play around with them. It was an adorable experience for us. There were many family and children enjoying themselves with the sheep here.
We have not seen sheeps before in our lives, so this is one really interesting experience. You should definitely come and see these adorable fluffy sheeps!!
